How to fix -Generic Host process for win32 service encountered a problem and need to close

This is a common problem I have come across for long and long time. While using window XP around 15 or 20 minute it automatically display the following error message.

When this message alert it cause me the following problem:

1. Can not access to another computer on my network.
2. Can not use the printer on my network.
3. It make my computer stopped working.

Here is my experience on how to fix this problem:

1. Download WindowsXP-KB958644-x86-ENU.exe security patch for Window XP.
2. Downoad Generic Host Process Error Removable Tool

After you have already download all the above file you will need to restart your computer and go into Safe Mode then install the "security patch" and the "GHremoval.bat" by follow the instruction.

You have to restart your computer again and go to the normal mode of your Window XP. Now the common error message above will not display anymore but you still can't use your network.

In order to fix this problem just download and install WinSock XP Fix and then run it and click on Fix button.  For more information about WinSock XP Fix click here.
